Super Duty Silica Bricks

Firebird glass furnace super duty silica bricks are made from plant owned high purity silica mineral, sintered in gas fueled down draft kiln.  
 
The bricks enjoy the characters of high purity (high SiO2 content, low Fe2O3 content, Low flux factors), high refractoriness under load, high tridymite content, high density & high strength, low true density, low expansion & low creep rate, accurate size tolerance.

Mullite, Sillimanite, Andalusite brick series are bonded
refractory bricks mainly contain crystal structure of
mullite phase(3Al2O3·2SiO2), glass phase (SiO2) &
corundum phoase (Al2O3) after high temperature
sintered.The bricks possess the characteristics of high
refractoriness under load, good thermal shock
resistance, good erosion resistance ability and
low creep rate, etc.


Typical Application

Mainly used in glass furnace upper structure, regenerator, tin bath, channel, cover plate and forehearth. And also steel industry hot blast stove, blast furnace, etc.

High Chrome Bricks

Chrome brick series is made from chromium oxide, alumina,
micro powder and other additive according to application request,
sintered by high temperature shuttle kiln. 



The bricks possess highly corrosion-resistant against acid
or alkali melts, good wear resistance, good thermal shock resistance
